Why every business owner I respect is going all-in on YouTube in 2026
It's not what you'd think...
I've noticed something over the past 12 months.
Every serious business owner I talk to — the ones running $1M-$10M+ companies — is either already building a YouTube channel or actively planning to.
Not TikTok. Not LinkedIn. Not Substack.
YouTube long-form.
And when I ask why, they all say some version of the same thing…
"It's the only channel that compounds over-time."
Here's what they mean…
When you run paid ads, you're renting attention. The moment you stop paying, the leads stop. You're on a treadmill. Every month starts at zero.
When you post on social media, you're borrowing attention. Your post has a half-life of 48 hours, then it's gone. Every week starts at zero.
But when you publish a YouTube video, you're building an asset that compounds on itself.
A video I posted 10 months ago still generates leads today. Every week. Ever hour. Sending leads to my products, automatically. While I sleep.
I have 70 videos live on my channel. That’s 70 sales agents working 24/7.
And that's not a metaphor…it’s literally how YouTube was designed.
This is the math that changed how I thought about content…
Think of every minute someone watches your content as a block of trust. I call it a Content Minute.
On Twitter, you get maybe 10 seconds per impression. On LinkedIn, maybe a minute. Even a great newsletter only gets 3-5 minutes of attention.
But on YouTube, a single video can deliver 10, 15, even 20 minutes of focused attention from a potential buyer. One video.
Now multiply that across a library of 50 videos.
A viewer who's consumed 10 hours of your content will buy almost anything you sell.
It would take 3,600 tweets to build the same amount of buying power.
No other platform lets you stack this much trust, this quickly, across this many buyers, in a single rep.
This is why YouTube long-form is the apex predator of content.
If you figure out how to crack it, your business will never look the same.
Why this matters in 2026…
AI is making content easier to produce at a staggering rate. That means more supply More noise. More competition for attention.
But here's what AI can't replicate…a real human with real expertise, real proof, and a real face building trust over dozens of hours of long-form content.
The business owners going all-in on YouTube right now aren't doing it because it's trendy. They're doing it because long-form video is the most defensible attention asset you can build in 2026. It’s the last frontier.
It's brutal to start. It’s hard to stick with. But if you can crack it…it compounds magically.
This is why I built YouTube for Business Owners.
Not because YouTube is cool (although it is pretty fun when you’re dominating your category).
I built it because YouTube it's the highest-ROI marketing channel I've ever seen — and most business owners are either ignoring it or doing it wrong.
If you're already sold on YouTube and just need the system, the Academy is open.
And if you're still weighing your options, I'll be sharing more about how my system works over the next two weeks.
Either way — I'd start thinking very seriously about YouTube.

P.S. Quick gut check: If you stopped posting on social media for 30 days, would leads still come in? If the answer is no, you don't have an asset — you have a treadmill.
