Grow 7x faster on Instagram with this 1 min change

Today’s Tip: Use the 7x1 strategy to grow much faster on Instagram. Here’s exactly how to do it…

Everyone is looking for simple hacks that drive extreme results.

In this case…ways to grow faster on social media without doing a ton of extra work.

Typically, these “grow fast hacks” are ineffective time-wasters.

But today…I’ve got one that actually works.

The 7×1 IG growth strategy

Your goal is to make a single piece of content that gets in front of as many new people as possible.

That’s obvious.

Here’s what’s not obvious…Instagram has several hidden features that act like boosters to give you free traffic.

If you use them all together, it acts like rocket fuel on your original video.

These are the IG features you’ll use in the 7×1 strategy:

• Primary IG Account - this is your main IG account (e.g., @kallaway)

• Secondary IG Account - this is your second IG account. If you don’t have one, make one (e.g., @kallawaytech)

• Collab Posts - when you upload an IG Reel, you can collab with up to 4 other accounts

• IG Story Reshares - when you post an IG Reel, you can reshare it as an IG story

• Trial Reels - IG lets you upload any video as a Trial Reel, which gets posted only to non-followers (existing followers don’t see it)

• Reposts - IG lets you repost any video, which acts like a retweet to “reshare” it to your following

To help you, here’s a quick visual to illustrate each piece…

Here’s the 7×1 growth strategy:

1. First, post your original IG Reel from your primary account and collab with your secondary account. Brand new secondary accounts will not be much help initially, but they will grow over time

2. 24 hours later, share your Reel as an IG story on your primary account

3. 48 hours later, share your Reel as an IG story on your secondary account

4. 72 hours later, repost your Reel on your primary IG account

5. 96 hours later, repost your Reel on your secondary IG account

6. 14 days later, run your original Reel again as a Trial Reel on your primary account. Repeat this at 14-28 day intervals until the video stops working

What does this look like in practice?

• Monday: Post original Reel in two places (primary and secondary channels as collab)

• Tuesday: IG story on Primary

• Wednesday: IG story on Secondary

• Thursday: Repost on Primary

• Friday: Repost on Secondary

• 2-4 weeks later: Reupload as Trial Reel on Primary

This strategy gives you 7 places to share the same video with almost zero additional effort.

Btw, if you don’t have a secondary IG account, all good. Start it now. Even without the secondary account, you’ll still get the original post, the IG story, the repost and the trial reel, which should dramatically increase your reach.
